My feedback is...What a great idea! I remember The Cold War being briefly and "boring-ly" addressed in the social studies book! You have really gone in-depth with your study, yet your unit flows smoothly! I think the students will really find it exciting. I wish I could be there to learn along with the kids! |

I have discovered that K-4 is completely different from what we do in the elementary grades! I loved your examples, especially when you were trying to sound like a four year old! Great job! |

My feedback is...I like your choice of content. I love music and would love to have studied a unit like this in school. The incorporation of the student's father as a resource is really important. Any time we as teachers can connect what we are teaching to the real world makes it so much more powerful for the kids. My favorite music is the blues, and I recognized the names in your PowerPoint. :) |
